Nick McCormack corrects shareholders' list mistake
DHST is pleased to report that the latest Annual Return to Companies House for Dulwich Hamlet Football Club correctly shows the shareholdings of the ‘small’ shareholders that were omitted from the return in July 2007.

DHST has written to the Nick McCormack recording its appreciation of this.
This omission was spotted by DHST who raised it in writing with the club. At a meeting in April, Nick McCormack explained that it was a mistake that would be corrected and this has now been done.

DHST calls for pause on New Ground Plans
Dulwich Hamlet have recently withdrawn their proposal to develop the car park, and have instead submitted plans to develop Greendale including a new ground for the football club.

DHST has written to the club asking them to temporarily withdraw the plans so that they can be revised as they do not currently appear to meet the desired level of ground grading requirements. Please see copy of the letter here.

Dulwich Supporters call on Club to Explain Development
On 11th January, Southwark Council began a consultation on a proposal by the owners of the freeholders of the Champion Hill stadium (DHPD Ltd) to build 60 flats on the car park adjacent to the ground.

The Dulwich Hamlet Supporters’ Trust (DHST) has expressed its concern at the lack of information provided so far to fans about the proposal and the impact it could have on the football club..

Commenting on the turn of events, DHST Chair Eddie Muraszko said “We have been expecting some sort of development to be proposed ever since the freehold for the site was bought from Kings College by DHPD Ltd a couple of years ago. The fact that this has happened makes DHST’s hard-won designation of the actual football ground as ‘Other Open Space’ five years ago even more important.”

“Although DHST is closely examining the planning documents to ascertain the effect on the club and its supporters, fans are really looking for the club to explain what this will mean for the future of Dulwich Hamlet, with some of them already thinking that Hamlet will be moving to a new ground.”

“We have therefore written to the club [see letter] proposing that they both meet with DHST and, more importantly, arrange an open meeting for all supporters so that they can explain what the future holds – especially as the existing lease on the ground ends next year. We hope they respond positively and quickly.”
